Check an article’s source

Each article identifies its source material and retrieval date. Open the original source for current equipment documentation or use its publisher’s own contact details for a product question. The manufacturer or supplier is responsible for its product information.

Prepare a correction record

Keep the article URL, the sentence in question, the date you read it and the primary document that supports a correction. This is the information needed to evaluate a specific error. An external source changing does not by itself show what an earlier version said.
