Sources & methods

How to read these guides

We compile public technical material into decision guides, working tables and trial questions. These are editorial resources; they are not machine operating instructions or evidence of an installation.

Manufacturer claims and observations

A published range or feature describes what its source states. We identify the source and preserve relevant conditions. A manufacturer’s statement is not an independent test. Where public documents disagree, the article records the difference rather than choosing a convenient number.

Working records

Checklists, cost formulas and trial records are our editorial proposals. The responsible project team must supply product-specific limits, safe procedures and acceptance criteria. A blank record does not establish regulatory compliance, cleaning validation or machine suitability.

Images and diagrams

Some editorial images are generated with image tools. They depict generic materials, packages and simplified scenes. They do not document a named manufacturer’s equipment, customer site or test result. Captions identify the pictured object and its explanatory use. Diagrams show selected relationships and omit mechanism details; they are not engineering drawings.

Dates and updates

Source dates and retrieval dates answer different questions. An older announcement may be examined as a case analysis. The updated date on a guide indicates its editorial revision, not a new product release.
